Abstract

This research discusses the importance of the Strategic Plan (Renstra) for Education and Training (Diklat) in developing human resources (HR) in Islamic education organizations. The research background shows that to improve the quality of human resources, measurable and targeted planning is needed, which includes increasing the capabilities of teaching staff, management and administrative staff. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach, which involves collecting and analyzing secondary literature and official documents relevant to the topic of human resource development in the context of Islamic education.

The research results show that the Education and Training Strategic Plan is designed to meet the challenges of globalization by strengthening human resource capabilities in implementing educational technology and modern teaching methods, while maintaining Islamic identity and values. The discussion highlights the elements of strategic planning, such as vision, mission, situation analysis, and evaluation and monitoring, all of which play an important role in the effectiveness of the training program. This research concludes that sustainable and planned human resource development through the Education and Training Strategic Plan will contribute to improving the quality of Islamic education that is competitive and relevant in the modern era. Recommendations are also given to focus education and training programs on specific needs identified through in-depth situation analysis, in order to achieve the expected educational goals.
